Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the new kitchen is the photo-reprographic tile mural behind the 48" Dacor gas cooktop. The image is a replica of "Pommes Rouges" by Paul Ranson, a post-impressionist painter with the 1890's Parisian art movement, Les Nabis. Note both the Asian influence and the beginnings of modern art. Colors throughout the kitchen - in the cabinetry, countertops, and paint- were coordinated back to this stunning centerpiece. |
